Dear Diary,
I am writing from an undisclosed location at the moment. Actually, I'm writing from a place called a "cousins." I'm not sure what that is, but my human says I have to stay here awhile. It's not so bad here. It's quiet, and the humans here are nice to me. They tell me I'm pretty and let me play in my sphere. I do like exploring in my sphere. This is a fun place to explore, too. It has new smells and new places to explore. I was getting bored at home.
Getting here was not fun. My human put me in a tiny cage and then put me in the big moving thing. I think she calls it a 'car'? The car isn't fun, because I'm in the the tiny cage. Then my human rolls down the clear wall, for some reason. It made me rather upset. It was cold and raining out, but I guess that means you have to let the cold air in. I had to bury myself in my towel to keep warm! Humans make no sense. I am rather dreading the trip back.
When we arrived at "cousins," my human took me out of the big moving "car" thing. She was greeted by another human, who looked happy to see me. But all of a sudden, I was taken by a smaller human! I think it was a human pup, though all humans are pretty big. He kept looking at me through the bars of the little cage. I hear my human talking nearby with the other adult human, who had come to greet us. I glare over in my human's direction. It's starting to rain again, and it's not easy for me to get my fur as perfect as I like it. It is a long and time-consuming task, that I'd not like to have to complete again so soon. I was ready to take a good long nap by this point.
The humans bring me into the house. The other human, the one who is not my human, and not the pup human, grabs my home-cage from the 'car.' They bring me into their house. I know that much. A human nest is a 'house,' funny words they have. They bring me to the lower level of the house, and put me in my sphere. I explore a bit, then they bring me in my sphere back to the upper level, and I explore more up there. There were a lot of new scents to be smelled there, and new places to explore.
A short while after I was brought to the upper level, my human comes back from another room and finds me in the pup's nest-room. I was looking in a nice nook, when she picked me up. She make a noise when she did, probably because I'd peed in my sphere and it was now all over my fur. She brought me down to the lower level, where my home-cage is. She looks a little sad and cuddles me a bit, before leaving. She left me in this strange place, but I don't think it's for long. Until she gets back, I'll have fun exploring!
